Going since 1958 The Stamford & District Round Table (charter number 611) has currently 11 active members and are always looking for new and enthusiastic people to join – see our New Members Page.
You may have seen our members adorning their DJ’s at various events in Stamford or have visited Stamford Car Show on an August Bank Holiday Sunday where cars new and old congregate on Stamford Meadows, or know of an elderly person who has received one of our Christmas Food Parcels, or have heard from one of our other community activities or contributions to local needy causes.
The chaps here at Stamford Round Table abide by the movements motto of fund raising, fellowship and fun – and we achieve all three in abundance – although is fair to say we are more family orientated and involve wives and childen in our activities as well as having various nights out to de-stress from the rigours of daily life – meeting every other Thursday.
We are patrons of the famous George Hotel and hold our regular meetings and dinners there enjoying the luxury and fine dining offered. If this sounds interesting then contact us and come along to one of our meetings you’ll be most welcome.
